To ensure you get the most out of our partnership, we recommend a 3-step process that ensures you and your team get what you need from us, and we can be sure our service is right for your business.

Already got a finance provider? Not a problem. We don't expect you to stop working with other finance providers straight away. We are more than happy to work alongside them for a trial period, as long as you give us opportunities to demonstrate the quality of our service.

Step 1: Book a meeting

We need to meet with you to find out as much as we can about your business. This includes learning about your customers, how you operate, your sales strategy, goals and challenges, and what we can do to support you. We can either meet at your place, ours, or virtually - whatever works best.

Step 2: Meeting your team

Your account manager will meet your sales team, and any other team members you'd like them to, to provide bespoke training and coaching sessions.

These sessions will teach them not just how to use the Bluestone Portal, but also how to explain the benefits of choosing finance as a payment option to the customer.

It's also important for your team to understand the benefits of offering finance for your business, and if a commission structure is agreed, how they can benefit.

For example, giving customers the option to spread the cost of their project over time, rather than requesting payment upfront, can overcome their cost objections - but your business will be paid in full.

Finance can also unlock significant tax benefits for the customer and keeps more working capital in their business. Giving customers this information enhances your customer service levels and can deepen your relationship with them.

Step 3: Feedback & review

Successful partnerships take time to refine and perfect, which is why it's important to us that we keep revisiting how we work together.

We can also return to provide refresher training or host Q&A sessions with your team if needed.

Regular meetings, reviews, and transparent feedback will enable us to provide a service that benefits your business, your team, and your customers.

How does the Bluestone Portal work?

We’ve partnered with leading UK lenders to offer finance via the Portal, meaning we’re connected directly with them to give the fastest quotes and payouts. The secret sauce? Our proprietary API technology matches your application with the lender that’s most suitable for your needs

Who are the lenders that the Portal gives access to?

We’ve partnered with a range of top UK lenders to offer finance via the Portal - our longstanding relationships with them means quotes and payouts are fast, and rates are industry-leading.

How quickly will I receive a quote?

In most cases, decisions will be made and quotes will appear within your Portal Dashboard within minutes.

What if I make a mistake during my application?

You can amend an in-progress application via the Portal - or give our friendly team a call. They’re always available during business hours, and will be able to access your Portal account to see, amend or cancel your in-progress application.

How do I change my account preferences, so I don’t have to update them every time?

You can update all your account preferences in the My Preferences, Company Defaults, and Company Preferences sections once you're logged into the portal. You'll find these by clicking on the arrow next to your picture in the top-right hand side of the portal.

What if the portal isn’t working, who do I contact?

If you're having trouble with the portal, send us an email at portal@bluestone.app, or contact your dedicated account manager who will be able to look into the issue asap.

Is there a cost associated with the portal?

No, using the Bluestone is completely free, no strings attached!

Can I create different quote variations for my organisation?

Yes, you could create various quotes. Please see the dedicated help video and guides here.

If the equipment changes once the Finance documents have been issued, am I able to amend it?

Once finance documents have been raised and issued, you would be required to contact Bluestone’s dedicated support managers who can assist with any required amendments.

Why can’t I view other applications that my colleagues have submitted?

To be able to view your colleagues’ applications you will require specific permissions set by Bluestone. Please contact your dedicated account manager to enquire.
