James is our Credit Manager and has been with Bluestone for just over five years. On a typical day at work, you’ll find James working with sales to secure finance for their clients, managing the proposal process and ensuring that the company approaches the right funders for the right deals.

Prior to working at Bluestone, James worked for a national car rental company.
James grew up in Scunthorpe after his parents moved from Norfolk.
When he was younger, he wanted to be a footballer, “My life centred around football, most nights were spent in the park/on the street playing it, and weekends watching it.”
Despite it being his least favourite subject early on, one teacher helped turn history into James’s favourite subject, “I’d eventually centre my higher education around it, and it still holds a very keen interest for me today.”
One thing James is surprisingly good at..
“I’m fairly adept and practical at fixing things.”

“I would love to go to a world cup final.”
