Bluestone is delighted to confirm the appointment of Richard Tamlyn as Sales Director after almost seven years in the business.

Richard joined Bluestone in May 2019 as the Head of Sales before being appointed to Head of Sales and Marketing in January 2022 following continued growth success during a turbulent period for the industry.

Beginning his career with roles in merchant banking, Richard went on to undertake a very successful career in media sales for over two decades, where he worked in various roles such as Commercial Manager, Sales Director and Senior Sales Director.

Richard brings with him a wealth of sales management and strategic and commercial development experience. Moving into the finance industry in 2019 has seen him specialise in asset and cashflow finance for several years whilst leading a team of industry experts, focusing his energy on the strategic growth of the business, specifically on the improvement of customer experience and streamlining the sales process.

Over the past couple of years, Richard has been involved in several large projects that have transformed the business, including a full company re-brand and the launch of Bluestone’s online finance platform, which has delivered significant benefits to UK businesses, enabling them to get quick quotes and apply for finance online through a simple, streamlined online process.
