What is a credit report?

Your business credit report can give you important insight into the financial health of your company, enabling you to identify anywhere you could look to improve your score, and the probability*** of your business getting approved for finance before making a full application online.

Your report can show a detailed breakdown of your business credit history** and is used as a record of your companies' financial reliability.  

New features:

• View* and download* a business credit report for your customers.
• Access a high-level credit report for your customers*.
• See any main influencing factors, highlighting where you're doing well and where you could look to improve.
• Access risk scoring which indicates the probability*** of finance applications getting approved for finance before making a full application online.
• Access indicative finance quotes from the credit report.
• A service that is free and not limited by the number of users accessing it.  

For UK businesses who are already registered on the Bluestone Portal, they can simply log in and access the full credit report from their dashboard. For businesses who aren’t yet signed up, registering for portal access is quick and easy, and provides them with the same level of access to their credit report in a matter of minutes.

Where does the data come from?

Bluestone works with CoCredo, a market leader in providing online business credit reports, scores and related company financial information for over twenty years, to develop the feature. CoCredo information is used every day, sourced from several key providers and updated over 500,000 times a day, ensuring business credit reports remain current.

Designed with user experience at its core

The portal, designed with user experience at its core, is setting a new standard across the industry, resulting in faster, sometimes instant, decisions on applications and has already marked a significant step forward in the sector.  

Our customers and partners can complete their application process, including uploading necessary documentation, within the portal, resulting in an end-to-end funding experience. The addition of the credit reporting feature for businesses makes it even easier for businesses to take that initial step, supporting them in making informed decisions that are best for them.
