Chris has been with Bluestone since July 2021 after spending eight years in the banking industry, five of which were specialising in asset finance. Supporting Bluestone’s account managers, Chris focuses on businesses within Greater Manchester across various project types.

Although Chris wanted to become a Sunderland Footballer from a young age, he began his career whilst at sixth form, working at an over 90s party providing snacks and drinks at an elderly person’s centre. He then went on to start his career in banking as an office/admin junior at Yorkshire Bank after finishing university.
On a typical day at work, Chris manages deals from the proposal stage through to pay-out, as well as keeping in touch with partners and customers who fall under the Greater Manchester region. He also spends his time quoting on any new enquiries coming in when the regional account managers are out on the road.
“I love the fact that no two days are the same and the feeling of finding a solution to help a business grow and/or improve their cash position.”

Chris grew up in Ilkley, playing outside with friends, riding his bike, playing football and his PlayStation. His earliest memory is going to Dubai at 2 years old with his parents to visit family whilst they were living over there.
Chris is exceptionally good at making tea and coffee, even though he doesn’t drink it himself! His favourite subject at school wasEnglish, but also PE (mainly football and basketball) but the most important non-academic lesson he learnt was too, “treat people how you would want to be treated yourself.”
Chris’ life motto;
“Enjoy and do whatever makes you happy, as long as it doesn’t cause harm/upset to others.”
The person he admires the most;
“My dad – who taught me the value of hard work and providing for his family.’”
If he could change one thing in the world, it would be judgement and division between groups of people with different beliefs.
