Bloomsbury Institute offers students from all backgrounds the opportunity to define and pursue success through education. TheInstitute was founded in 2002 as the London School of Business andManagement and adopted its current name in 2018.
During the COVID pandemic, the Institute reduced their three sites down to one and teaching was carried out online throughout this time due to the lockdown. As face-to-face classes resumed, a need for further office space arose. A new site, located above Great Portland Street tube station, was identified that would house academic and support staff as well as Bloomsbury Institute's own Student Guild.
In wanting to spread the cost of the refurbishment of the new office space overtime, Bloomsbury Institute were looking for the best financing options available in the current climate. Bluestone were able to deliver a bespoke finance solution that meant Bloomsbury Institute could spread the cost of the fit-out over time. It comprised a 3-year finance agreement. The new site will significantly enhance student experience as students will be a 2-minute walk away from their classes when they need 1-2-1 support from their lecturers and other staff.
